Davon D. Meeks (born April 22, 2003), professionally known as VonOff1700, is an American recording artist from Chicago, Illinois. Von became popular after his song “Opps On Deck” gained attention due to its aggressive lyrics while using the instrumental of “On Deck” by Gucci Mane. The popularity boost saw over 10,000 videos being made while using the song’s sound on TikTok. In the midst of 2023, Von would get signed to Signal Records, which is a sub-label of Columbia Records. Kicking off 2024, Von released his debut project #FreeMyHoodFuckYoHood, with features from Screwly G, SBG Brick, MAF Teeski, and NoLimit Faro. Almost two months after releasing #FreeMyHoodFuckYoHood, in June 2024, Von released a deluxe version titled #FreeMyHoodFuckYoHood: Bounce Out Edition, which included a feature from fellow Chicago artist G Herbo. .
