Tom Hook & Wendell Brunious

Tom Hook is a veteran pianist, songwriter, and entertainer whose career spans jazz, rock, and theatrical performance. He began in Kansas City and went on to a long tenure with the Delta Queen Steamboat Company as a bandleader and entertainment director, while also performing at venues including Walt Disney World and Harrahs Casino New Orleans. Wendell Brunious is a celebrated New Orleans trumpeter, composer, and educator whose lyrical phrasing and warm tone embody the elegance of the citys traditional jazz lineage.

The son of legendary trumpeter John Brunious, he carried the family legacy forward as a longtime member and Director of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Over the course of his career, Brunious has performed and recorded with artists including Wynton Marsalis, Lionel Hampton, Danny Barker, and Dr. Doors: 4 pmShow: 4:30 - 6pmSnug Harbor Jazz Bistro presents live weekly concerts.
