cEvin Key, composer and instrumentalist of an emerging Skinny Puppy had asked Edward Ka-Spel of the Legendary Pink Dots to write lyrics for a piece that deserved more than a bonus slot on a cassette release. The connection had been building for some time and after a new version of Center Bullet had been laid down in less than an hour, it seemed logical to write a few songs from scratch. For some , the combination of Skinny Puppys sonic overload and the Pink Dots hallucinogenic labyrinth may seem like an unlikely combination, but the evidence of the music and the longevity of the project exemplifies a perfect marriage.
