The Creature Comforts

The Creature Comforts, a Lawrence, Kansas, based three-piece pop band, formed in 1997, and consisted of Chris Tolle (Action Man), on guitar and vocals, Brian Everard on bass, J.D. on keyboards, and Bill Brimblecom Jr. on drums. The band's debut full-length CD, The Politics Of Pop (Noisome Records), was produced by regional go-to soundman Ed Rose, and showcased the band's solid guitar riffs and potent pop numbers recalling the post-punk sound that helped fuel the late 1980’s and early 1990’s rock explosion. Following this, they released Teaching Little Fingers to Play, which was a regional radio favorite. .
