Parlor Greens is an instrumental trio from Ohio that plays soul jazz and deep funk. (Tim Carman: drums, Jimmy James: guitar, Adam Scone: organ). Parlor Greens' sound is vintage, drawing inspiration from the legacies of 1960s organ-guitar-drums masters. The band's debut album, In Green / We Dream, was released in 2024. Parlor Greens is a powerhouse organ trio bringing together three acclaimed musicians from across the soul, blues, and funk worlds: organist Adam Scone (The Sugarman 3, Scone Cash Players), guitarist Jimmy James (True Loves, Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio), and drummer Tim Carman (GA-20). Formed through a shared love of classic organ-combo recordings, the trio blends deep-groove soul jazz, blues, and heavy instrumental funk with effortless chemistry and world-class musicianship. Their debut album, In Green / We Dream, was recorded live to tape at Colemine Records' Portage Lounge studio in Ohio, capturing the raw energy and spontaneity of three master musicians creating in the moment.
Jimmy's features a full-service restaurant, and food is available for purchase at every performance. Doors open at 5:30 PM, when you can order dinner directly from your ticketed seat, no separate dinner reservations needed! Kitchen service runs from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
