Leonid and Friends is a Chicago tribute band based in Moscow. They began as a YouTube band, and now tour the United States extensively in the spring and fall. Leonid Vorobyev, is the founder and leader of the band. Vorobyev is a multi-instrumentalist, a recording studio sound engineer and choir conductor by training, at the East Siberian Institute of Culture. Vorobyev made his first Chicago video recording of the song "Brand New Love Affair" in 2014.

LEONID & FRIENDS have blown the minds of legions of fans with their uncanny ability to capture the spirit, musicality, and fire of American supergroup Chicago. Leonid Vorobyevs goal was a studio project in dedication to Chicago under the motto musicians for musicians. Their first video went viral, but they really gained traction when Chicago itself published the video on its official website.
They have since expanded their repertoire to include Earth Wind & Fire, Blood Sweat & Tears, Ides of March, Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, Deep Purple, and new original material. 2 million followers across social media, an astonishing 300 million+ video views, and over 400 successful US shows under their belt. The future is only looking up for Leonid & Friends.
