Keznamdi McDonald, known professionally as Keznamdi, is a Jamaican reggae artist who won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album in 2026. His music is rooted in the roots reggae revival movement, alongside contemporaries such as Protoje, Jesse Royal, and Kabaka Pyramid.
About This Event
Raised in a home where his parents led the reggae outfit Chakula, an environment where music felt less like a dream and more like daily language he entered the studio early, recording his first track, Mix A Color, at just five years old. Sonically, Keznamdi stands at the intersection of tradition and now: threading roots reggae and dancehall with global influences, including Bongo Flava, Rs intention and a performers warmth. As he puts it: My music is a message every one of my songs have a purpose.
