FRED EAGLESMITH at FITZGERALDS Nightclub

The Juno Award winning poet of rural Canada has spent four decades turningservice station stories, county fair romances, broken down old tractors, andgravel roads into timeless songs. His devoted fan base, affectionately known asFred Heads and a reputation for delivering shows that are equal parts intimateand electrifying have established this founder of alt-country as the benchmarkfor his contemporaries as well as aspiring artists. Eaglesmiths songs, filled withwit, heart, and unvarnished truth have been covered by the likes of Alan Jackson,Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert and countless others.

For the last 15 years,Eaglesmith has been joined by Texas-born,multi-instrumentalist, Tif Ginn, who also happens to be his wife. Together theyhave developed a musical symbiosis that only comes from countless miles, shared stages and an undenyable chemistry. Eaglesmith carries the weight of a legend lightly.
