Shane Profitt is an country music singer and songwriter from Columbia, Tennessee, known for his deep blue-collar roots and authentic, small-town storytelling. Born on January 17, 2000, he quickly transitioned from working a city job mowing ditches to playing sold-out shows at the historic Ryman Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry. Profitt's musical journey started at age 18 when his grandfather taught him his first chords on the guitar so he could play Hank Williams Jr. songs. His big break came after a chance encounter in Nashville with country star Chris Janson. Impressed by his raw talent, Janson signed him to a publishing deal and took him on the road as an opening act. Profitt is signed to Triple Tigers Records and has built a steady following with music that reflects his rural upbringing: "How It Oughta Be" (2022): His debut breakout single, which reached the Top 20 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. "Long Live Country" (2025): Another charting single celebrating the working-class lifestyle.
