About Mylie Taylor
Mylie Taylor is a Toronto-born, Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter who is quickly becoming a standout in the Alt-Rock and Grunge-Pop scenes. The daughter of the late Mike Taylor (the "Beard Guy" from Walk Off The Earth), Mylie has carved out her own path by blending raw, personal confessions with a rebellious energy. Drawing inspiration from icons like Avril Lavigne and Courtney Love, her music is defined by its "vulnerability and fire," often focusing on heavy themes like mental health, addiction, and self-discovery. After a childhood career in the Canadian group Mini Pop Kids, Mylie transitioned into a solo artist, releasing her bold debut EP "Screaming at God" in 2024. Her sound—a mix of gritty guitar riffs and honest, "no-filter" lyrics—has earned her a loyal following and millions of streams on tracks like "NUMB" and "die for you." Entering 2026, she continues to solidify her place as a modern rock icon with her latest single "slip" (with WesGhost), proving herself to be a powerful voice for a generation navigating the darkest parts of life. .
