Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs is an American band formed by singer and guitarist Mike Campbell as The Dirty Knobs as a side project while Campbell was a member of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, releasing the single, "Feelin' High", in 2010. Following the release of "Wreckless Abandon", in January 2020, the band name became Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs. In 2023, the band released "External Combustion". By this time, the band comprised Mike Campbell (lead guitar, vocals), Jason Sinay (guitar, vocals), Lance Morrison (bass guitar, backing vocals), Matt Laug (drums, percussion, backing vocals). In 2023, Matt Laug became the touring drummer for AC/DC so former Heartbreaker, Steve Ferrone, was brought in on drums. On May 7, 2024, the band released a new song and video, "Dare to Dream" from their third album, Vagabonds, Virgins & Misfits, released on June 14, 2024. .
